Screen printing workshop in Kapitaal Utrecht
“Do more of what makes you happy.”
The first time did screen printing was during my (industrial) design studies in Mexico City and I have loved it ever since, but never did much with it because (I thought )you needed to have the full studio, the frames, the lamps, the chemicals, etc…
I discovered Bobbinhood and learned you can also screen print from home!! Amazing! It works like a stencil, you cut the shape you want to print and then paste the vinyl on the back. So it is actually a bit limited in the things that you can do. For example, if you want to print words, all the inner circles are cut off… you get what I mean? I guess not, which in that case you can have a look at the image below 😉

Hand printed blanco books as a gift for the people who participated in a creative session to #hack #fostercare. It’s in Dutch… but it reads: ?weekend ?Wednesday’s ?crisis ?vacation ?support for ?future … foster parent As a way to bring awareness that foster care has many colours and not always needs to be a full time job. #conversationstarter #dragervandeinteractie #blancobook #pleegzorg #minwvs #wvs #pleegouder #fosterparent #laatzemaarkomen @bobbin.hood #wearebobbinhood
